Job Responsibilities
As a Team Manager, you will manage a team of clinical staff which includes Registered Nurses, LVNs, Hospice Aides, and applicable support staff.  Specific management responsibilities include:
• Ensuring that patient care services are coordinated, managed, and provided within organization standards, policy & procedures, and federal & state regulations
• Promoting and supporting the interdisciplinary team through effective collaboration and planning
• Providing assistance in assessment planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient and family/caregiver care
• Support, mentor, train, evaluate and encourage clinical team members

Job Requirements
We are looking for a Nurse Manager with clinical expertise in the care of terminally ill patients, including pain and symptom management. Excellent communication and observation skills are also essential for success in this management role.

Hospice Nurse Manager requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or associate's degree from an accredited nursing program
• Registered Nurse with licensure to practice professional nursing in California
• 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in a hospice, home health agency, or acute care, and at least 2 years of management or supervisory experience in a health care setting
